Hi, I’m Anwaar.

I’m curious about how things work. That curiosity has taken me down a lot of different paths over the years: machine learning, photography, music, films, trekking, cycling, and whatever else happens to capture my attention for long enough.

Professionally, I work on making machine learning models run efficiently on resource-constrained devices. Most of my work sits at the intersection of efficient inference, model optimization, computer vision, and edge AI. I’m currently working on quantization and model optimization for XR devices at Qualcomm. Before that, I was a founding engineer at Unify (YC W23), where I worked on model compression techniques including quantization and factorization.
